SPY: First pictures of Hyundai ix45

Hyundai launched the Mid-suven Santa Fe 2000, and the model sold very well thanks to robust technology and low price. The representative showed up in 2006, and now Cars Coop spy photos of three generations.
Hyundai takes the opportunity to rename the model for ix45. Just below the Santa Fe is already ix35, which competes with the Nissan Qashqai and Kia Sportage. The name ix45 will link up with Hyundai in the models, which began with Golf competitor i30 2007th
The design is linked to the rest of the models in the Hyundai range, with the hexagonal grille and sloping hindquarters. ix45 more crossover than the regular sedan. Click to see pictures of Cars Coop.
Yet there are no technical details about the new ix45, but the model will be sold both on the European and North American markets. European version may be slightly harder suspension and a different engine offerings, including a four-cylinder diesel engine. Current Santa Fe is available with a 2.4-liter gasoline engine at 178 hp and 226 Nm, and a 2.2-liter diesel engine at 197 hp and 437 Nm. The prototype of the images have a 2.0-liter petrol engine with manual transmission.

I spotted a Hyundai, Badged IX45, In Brignole In the var district of France on Sat 27th August It was not disguised but as it was travelling away from me I did not see to much detail but it seemed larger than my Santa Fe
